He is a Master Mariner with over 35 years of international experience in the Shipping and Maritime Sector. He has done his Masters in Marine Management from U.S.A in 1986.
He is “Chartered Shipbroker” as he obtained Fellowship of The Institute of Chartered Shipbrokers – U.K in 1986 by passing Institution’s examination with flying color and therefore was entitled for “Institute Award – 1986”.

Capt. Mahmoodi is an Honorary Consultant to Ministry of Food & Agriculture, Govt. of Pakistan and Maritime Safety Inspector for Vanuatu Maritime Administration.
He is Managing Director and Chief Executive of M/S. World Marine Shipping & Trading (Pvt) Ltd., established in 1986 and M/s. “M” International Services (Pvt) Ltd., was established in 1990, from their inception, and therefore he is actively involved in Shipping / Crewing & Manning/Trading and Maritime activities in Pakistan and abroad. He is an expert in offshore and port development works such as Dredging and Underwater Cabling works etc.
Capt. Mahmoodi is indeed one of the leading professional experts of Pakistan shipping and maritime fields, and by virtue of his achievements in marine and allied fields he was selected as honored member of the International “Who’s Who” for the year 1998 and his name was included in 1998 edition again in 2008 he has been selected as honored member of Madison “WHO’s Who for the year 2008-2009.
He is also Fellow of Nautical Institute, UK and Chartered Institute of Transport and Logistic – UK.
